I
ran across this family album in an antique store near Austin Texas in July 2009.
This is by far the most amazing genealogy find I have ever seen.
Typically, albums like this have all of their photos removed and sold individually because
they will bring more money (especially the tin-types), but this one somehow survived that fate.
The album includes the following families: Reece, Green, Boring, Lindholm, Sheppard, Kullenberg.
Most of the pictures are in excellent shape and most have writing on them.
Some of them appear to be from the late 1800's.
There are also several tin-types and at least one has a name written on it.
Another amazing thing about this album is that there is a lock of hair included among the pictures!
This is truely the King Tut find of the century and I couldn't pass it up even though it is not
in any way related to my family.
I'm currently hunting down the families to learn more about them.
Note
This album is now in the possession of Reece family researcher Barbra Phillips, Georgetown TX.
She has agreed to make the full details of this album public.
Thank you Barbra. 9/2013
