This is a Sears/Craftsman 1x42 belt-sander I found online and restored. It's about 50 years old. I had one in the past just like it and was never able to find a modern belt-sander that I liked.
This machine was all there but was full of mud-daubers and had plenty of rust. It came from a barn workshop and was obviously well used. All the parts were dismantled, sand-blasted, primed, then painted with a Rust-oleum high-performance enamel rattle can in machine grey. All the information plates were saved. The base was sanded and painted in black but I put rubber feet on it and use it on the bench top.
