I bought this car from Johnsons Used Cars in Euless TX 07/08/85 for $5500. There was 95708 miles on the odometer but it had broken. I picked it up at Ken O. Johnson's house in Morrisdale Estates. Ken had a long curvy driveway with a steep incline. He had just painted it but the clear coat failed. We became good friends.
I sold it to Patrick W. Fenity 9/3/93 for $1200. He picked it up at my house in Colleyville. The car ran but it burned oil, which I thought might be due to a bad piston ring but I never really knew. It had done that ever since I let it overheat one winter morning.
The car had 2 speakers in the front kick panels and 2 on the rear deck, and the becker stereo. It did not have a sunroof.
I replaced the horse hair seat cushions with foam sometime in the late 80s. It once took me 2 weeks to change the waterpump on it because a bolt froze in the block. The car was kept stock.
If I could find this car I'd consider buying it if it was in restorable shape.

I bought this Camaro at Hudiburg Cheverolet in North Richland Hills on 05/02/81 for $6084. It was beige/tan exterior with a tan interior. It had all the bells and whistles. 305 V8. No spoiler. Cyclone wheels.
This was a very reliable car for me. I drove it from Euless to Garland almost every day for more than a year. We went on our honeymoon in 1982 to Oklahoma in it and the AC went out :)
I traded this car in at Tyson Buick in Fort Worth in June 1982.
It would be cool to know what happened to this car.

This mustang is a lime gold fastback with a 390 motor. The 390 4V was replaced with a 302 in 1974. It had the deluxe hood and hood pins were added. Overhead console with map light. Automatic transmission, tinted glass, power steering and AC.
This mustang was bought at Pegues Hurst Motor Co in Longview Texas in 1967 and traded in at a dealership in east Texas in 1974 with 77k miles on the odometer.

This Cherokee was red and bought new at Don Davis in Arlington TX. It had the 4.0 straight 6 motor, grey cloth seats.

I bought this car from Peter Whipple at Tyson Buick in Fort Worth in 1982 for $8k.
It had a giant add-on diesel tank mounted in the trunk that I removed. The interior was white.I sold this car around 1990?? to Ken Johnson, Euless TX for $1200. The timing chain had jumped. I've wondered what happened to it.
